Laya Studio logo and brand assets

The mark is the Pixel Bird: a swallow in flight drawn by a few lit cells of a binary grid, with one round Swiss-red cell at the beak, the decision. Everything here is free to use when you write about or link to Laya Studio. Download any asset as SVG or PNG.

Pick the version that fits the ground. The red beak stays red in colour versions and turns with the rest of the mark in one-colour versions.

Construction

Built on the grid it came from

Laya reads text and returns decisions; the bird is what lights up in our 0/1 field. The mark sits on a 6 × 5 grid: 4-unit cells on a 5-unit pitch, corner radius 0.9. Eleven cells are lit; the twelfth, the beak, is round and red.

In motion (loaders, intros) the wing beats up, level, down. The beak never moves: the decision holds still.

Clear space

Keep empty space around the logo at least as large as one cell pitch at its size, about half the height of the mark. Nothing else goes inside the hatched area.

Colour

Black and white, with one red

The brand is monochrome. Swiss red is an accent only: the beak, an emphasised phrase, an active state. Click a colour to copy it.

Typeface

JetBrains Mono

The wordmark and the whole site are set in JetBrains Mono (SemiBold for the wordmark), a free open-source monospace. The blog uses Source Serif 4 and Inter for long reading.

Name

Write Laya Studio: two words, both capitalised. Laya on its own is the open-source model by Convai Innovations that Laya Studio hosts; Laya Studio is an independent service, not affiliated with Convai Innovations or TypeSafe.
